An Interview with Robert Battle

Nate and Dan are joined by Bill Martin this week, and get a chance to speak with Drexel great Robert Battle. Robert takes us through the winding road that took him to Drexel, as well as highlights of his playing career under two different coaches in two different conferences.

The guys also spend some time speaking to Robert about the current years edition of the Dragons, and what Amari Williams' ceiling might be - and why. And everyone agrees with what the University of Delaware now knows - Keishana Washington is trouble if you're in an opposing jersey.

Thanks to Robert for joining the Pod, and we look forward to having him back again in the near future to fill us in about his pro career!

22 - Too Cool To Storm

Leading up to the half way point game against SUCKS we discuss what we liked and didn't like in the last few games before we answer tough questions like ... Can we shake this injury bug? Will we able to finish the second half as strong as our .500 start? Will Coach Spiker use timeouts in the first half? Has the DAC been taken back? Who needs to step up for us to finish strong? Will Hofstra get an at large bid if they pull a Drexel circa 2011-12? And most important of all, when do you storm?

Post game thoughts after a loss against William & Mary where we discuss the CAA opponents thus far and what we need to do with our defense to get back into the swing of things and how realistic that goal is. We also have a special guest join Marshall at the end to preview the College of Charleston game, from the CofC podcast Holy City Hoops, Tommy Glasgow.

Dec 22 2018 "vs" Temple

Post game thoughts after losing a “home” game against Temple at the Palestra where we struggle to make sense of the turnover problem, scoring droughts and missed opportunities. We also take solace in that none of our players dunked on their own basket and look ahead to our first CAA Matchup.

We hope this holiday season finds all of you and yours merry and well. A Very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from all of us!
